Project Manager

Panta is skeeing an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects from planning through to successful completion.

Purpose of  Job:

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects from initiation to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards, while effectively managing stakeholders, resources, and risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning & Execution
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate design reviews and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Oversee procurement and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
  1. Project Delivery & Monitoring
  • Lead and supervise the execution of MEP works on-site.
  • Monitor progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
  1. Stakeholder & Team Management
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication.
  • Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reports.
  • Supervise and mentor project engineers, estimators, site staff, and subcontractors.
  1. Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure MEP installations comply with design drawings, local codes, and international standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections and co-ordinate testing, resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Accountable for project handover documentation and final acceptance procedures.
  1. Financial Management
  • Monitor project costs and control expenditures to align with budget.
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices and variations.
  • Support management in claims, change orders, and contract negotiations.
Working location
  • Company Head Office – Panta House, Msida
  • Project Site/s
Accountability
  • The Project Manager will be accountable to the Senior Project Manager
  • The Project Coordinators / Foreman / Supervisor will report to the Project Manager
  • Depending on the size of the project to be managed, the Project Manager may lead a project team, consisting of estimators and draftsmen.
