Do you enjoy staying organised, working as a part of a team, and making sure every detail is in place? Panta is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Coordinator to support our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects from planning through to completion.
Purpose of Job:
The Junior Projects Coordinator supports the delivery of MEP projects by assisting senior site and project teams with planning, coordination, and daily administrative tasks. This role helps ensure that activities on site run smoothly, deadlines are tracked, and communications between teams remain clear and timely. While not directly responsible for full project execution, the Junior Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining progress and compliance across sites.
This position offers a foundational opportunity to learn about project operations, scheduling, site coordination, and contractor communication within a growing and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Coordinator and site team with planning and scheduling of daily work.
- Support Site Supervisors and Team Leaders in ensuring team members have the required tools and materials.
- Help track delivery schedules for materials, tools, and plant; follow up with suppliers and internal teams.
- Monitor and report site attendance and leave schedules to project leadership.
- Act as a communication link between the site and the office for updates, drawings, and technical changes.
- Participating in site inspections and help ensure basic health, safety, and environmental practices are followed.
- Document site progress through photographs, logs, and reports, and update internal systems accordingly.
- Attend internal coordination meetings and take minutes or assist with action item tracking.
- Provide administrative support on project variation requests, RFIs, and documentation updates.
- Assist with tracking subcontractor performance and ensure work is aligned with project expectations.
Accountability:
The Junior Projects Coordinator reports to the assigned Project Coordinator or Project Manager. In their absence, they report to the Senior Project Manager. They work closely with the Foreman, Site Supervisors, Team Leaders, and other trades personnel, providing support but not direct supervision.
