Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Group Stock Inventory Controller to join our growing team and play a key role in managing our stock across all divisions. The Group Stock & Inventory Controller will be responsible for the effective management, coordination, and control of all stock and inventory across Panta Group.
Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records across all stores and companies.
- Ensure all stock movements are recorded correctly in the system (receipts, issues, returns, transfers).
- Carry out cycle counts, periodic stocktakes, and year-end physical counts.
- Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure consistent use of stock codes and classifications.
- Oversee and coordinate with the Store Supervisor, who manages the daily work of Storekeepers.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to the Store Supervisor on stock documentation, storage, and reporting.
- Implement and maintain procedures for receiving, storing, issuing, returning, and transferring items.
- Ensure proper identification, labelling, and bin-location systems.
- Ensure adequate storage conditions, safety, and housekeeping in all stores.
- Ensure documentation is filed, complete, and available for audits.
- The controller oversees all group inventory including:
- Raw materials (pipes, cables, fittings, metals)
- Consumables (tapes, screws, bolts, PPE, sealants)
- Spare parts (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing)
–Â Â Â Finished goods (air conditioning units, ventilation items, lift parts etc)
–Â Â Â Tools & equipment issued to employees
–Â Â Â Fabricated or assembled products from Panta Fab
–Â Â Â Materials stored or used on project sites
- Returned, damaged, or unused materials
–Â Â Â Scrap, waste, and obsolete items
- Ensure stock records, issue sheets, transfer forms, returns, and adjustments are complete and accurate.
- Maintain proper audit files for inventory-related documents.
- Ensure transparency and traceability of all stock movements.
- Liaise with Project Managers to forecast material requirements.
- Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Ensure the Store Supervisor receives accurate information and implements required actions.
- Assist in improving store operations, layout, and systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in stock or inventory management, preferably within a multi-site or group setting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and ability to coordinate across departments
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with stock or ERP systems
- Experience in construction, engineering, MEP, or technical industries is considered an asset
