Junior Engineer (Lift Systems)

Job Purpose

The Junior Engineer (Lift Systems) supports the design, installation, and maintenance of lift systems, gaining hands-on technical experience while working under the guidance of senior engineers. The role focuses on contributing to project delivery, safety, and quality while developing skills through ongoing training and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of lift systems.
  • Prepare and support in the development of technical drawings, basic estimates, and tender documentation.
  • Provide assistance to site teams by interpreting drawings, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring project progress.
  • Participate in site visits to oversee lift installation, commissioning, and handover under senior guidance.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors for material procurement, delivery tracking, and service coordination.
  • Ensure lift systems comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, while supporting the company’s quality and environmental management systems (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001).
  • Assist in the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, ensuring accurate reporting and traceability of completed works.
  • Contribute to the promotion of safe working practices and environmental sustainability within projects.
  • Actively participate in training and development programmes to build technical and professional skills, sharing knowledge within the team.
