Lifts Technician

Purpose:

The Lifts Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair and inspection of lift systems, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high- quality service.

Responsibilities & duties:

  • responsibility to identify faults, conduct repairs, and support the technical team with any requirements
  • always maintain a high company profile and image
  • ensure that faults and maintenance activities are executed in the most efficient and

    effective manner

  • design and plan any technical work that may be required across all types of lifts

    installed and maintained by the company

  • correspond and deal with suppliers and manufacturers regarding any faults
  • plan with the Technical Supervisor to stock for parts as may be required from time to

    time

  • replace and repair parts of lift systems
  • attend courses for technical training from Suppliers and Partners
  • support client needs and ensure that work is carried out in a safe and timely manner
  • co-ordinate work with our customer care department
  • any other related duties may be required

Requirements to be considered as asset:

  • certification or license to work as a Lift Technician in Malta
  • Technical certification or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical

    Engineering (MQF Level 4 or equivalent)

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in lift installations, maintenance, or servicing
  • Previous experience working in the Maltese market or similar would be an asset
  • Able to understand and read technical schematics and documentation
  • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
  • Fit and comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
  • Fluency in English; Maltese is a plus
