We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. This role involves managing a team of finance executives, ensuring best-in-class practices, and delivering timely and accurate financial data to group management. You will play a key role in budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, and strategic planning, helping the organization make data-driven decisions to achieve its financial objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Manage the accounts department to ensure efficient and accurate recording of financial data.
· Develop and document streamlined accounting processes to maintain and implement robust internal controls.
· Prepare monthly management accounts for the company and its subsidiary, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, and highlight key variances from budget and forecasts.
· Monitor, manage, and forecast cash flow.
· Ensure compliance with all financial regulatory requirements.
· Analyze financial data to assess the company’s financial performance.
· Assist in the preparation of yearly budgets and relevant forecasting.
· Collaborate with IT departments to improve financial automation and reporting.
· Provide support to Group Management as required.
· Maintain relations with external auditors and ensure timely preparation for audits.
Requirements:
· Accounting degree (ACCA or University Degree).
· Highly organized with the ability to reach targets.
· Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
· A positive, can-do attitude and ability to work as part of the broader team.
· Ability to lead change, take initiative, and act on what is required.
· Strong work planning and time management skills.
· Knowledge of SFM and SAP is a plus.
· Strong knowledge of MS Office software.
